No download button anymore.

What happened?

I can only download 1 video after opening the app and then the download button disappears. I close and restart the app and the download button reappears and I can download only 1 video and it's gone again. Is this a new thing for the free version?

There is no paid version of Grayjay, you can buy the license to support us but no features are limited to it. Latest version is 268.

I was not able to reproduce this. Could you try to provide more precise replication steps and is this only happening for Youtube videos, did you try with other plugins?

Did you get the app from the Google Play Store? Or did you download the apk directly?

Yes I got grey jay from google play store. I've been using it for almost a year and never had a problem until now. This problem only happens with YouTube plugin. When I open the app I find a video I want to download I click on the options and see the actions I can take for video. Download is there and I can download it. It's gone after 1 download. I have to close app and restart to download again. I've never had this problem before. I use the Rumble plugin and I don't have this problem. Download option is always there. I hope I've been able to describe my problem.. Thank you any help would be great.

Google removed Grayjay from PlayStore for having features like Download and Background playback for Youtube hence we had to remove them from PlayStore version. We suggest using F-droid version or sideload the apk.

Closing issue since this is intended behavior.
