Sync does not sync settings

What happened?

I connected my 2 phones.
Sync of subscriptions and whatch history works.

it says
Sync your settings across multiple devices
but settings don't get synced.

i dont think its a bug. there is a good chance you dont want the same settings on both platforms as the way to use it will probably be very different.

thing is if you sync settings it would lock everybody into using same settings if they desire it or not - so its a potential blocker
if you dont sync settings it may be one time a bit annoying to redo settings - annoyance but not a blocker

another trap is version difference. while playlists and history dataformat probably stay untouched across versions settings certainly will not. that opens a can of worms once you update one before the other and sync.

tldr not a fan, probably not a bug but a feature

Indeed, misleading label. Changed next release.
Indeed we do not wanna sync most settings as they might affect the experience negatively.
Sync is mostly intended for syncing data (think subscriptions, playlists, history, and so on, as well as addition some functionality like continuing playback on a diff device).
