  1. Install the Hashicorp Terraform VSCode extension
  2. Install the OpenTofu VSCode extension
  3. Get error

Expected Behavior

OpenTofu extension could work in conjunction with the Terraform VSCode extension

Actual Behavior

Multiple errors:

command 'terraform-ls.module.callers' already exists
opentofu client: couldn't create connection to the server'
Failure to start opentofu-ls. Please check your configuration settings and reload this window

Do we need to use both of these extensions together in order to get the full functionality?
