Ecowitt Weather Station integration - Error on configuration flow #162
Comments
I have the same problem too |
I have the same problem, HA Core 2023.11.3 |
Same issue here... But the last code edit is from 3 years ago, hopefully they will fix it. |
Can anyone help us? |
Have you already tried the fixes mentioned there? -> Link This worked for me and others after changing the two lines. |
I managed to solve this bug by installing the previous version of the integration i.e. 0.6, the update notification will remain but at least that's how it works |
It looks like @garbled1 is not actively maintaining this anymore. Maybe someone should fork it, accept (at least the latest) pull requests, and add that one to HACS instead. |
There is an"official" HA integration that works just fine, you could try that. It was last updated a month ago. It's possibly why this one isn't being maintained any more. |
I've just bought an Ecowitt Whitby because it's supposed to be local and came across the problem. I've just downloaded the app and it won't do anything unless I register for an online account. Is there no way to get the data locally without an online account? Edit: Ignore my above you can also do this via the local webpage for your Wittboy (no app needed) - sorted! |
What hub are you using with Wittboy ? |
Hi! Get an error during configuration flow (Version 0.7 of Ecowitt WS integration)
