Momocentral is a online work platform.

I have spoken with the founders - If you can get past their vetting process I think they will do a good job looking after you - it should also pay better than upwork.

I've spoken to my co-founder and CTO about what you do. Following up from the call, it'd be great if you can let your talent pool know about us and those interested in a more quality controlled, bill by time freelancer platform (where it's also not a race to be the cheapest), to apply to us!

1.Go to to https://momocentral.com
2. Click "Join as a Talent" on the top right of the screen
3. An online code test link will automatically be generated for you. You have 2 weeks to attempt the test at your own pace. No pressure!
4. If you pass this, we will invite them for the next round which is a live video interview

Important
Pleas mention you have been referred by Gaza Sky Geeks - Normally they do not give feedback but they have agreed to give anyone who applies from GSG more feedback.

On our end, we have told our evaluation team to note down the performance of each candidate of GSG. We will include points of how they performed in each phase and share that so you have feedback on your students. We don't usually do this for other candidates! but as we're on the same mission and you run an academy, we'll do this!

If there are candidates who make it to the live video interview but failed, yet show promise, we will earmark them for our MomoGivesBack program where if they wish, they can volunteer to work on projects for Silicon Valley tech non-profits, under the mentorship/tutelage of a senior engineer. Usually the CTO of these tech non-profits in our MomoGivesBack program are former Google or Stanford engineers. If the tech non-profit has no CTO, our own MomoCentral CTO himself will mentor them on the project! :)

I believe this is a good opportunity that everyone should join.

If you didn't win, you'll learn.

Update from Su:

Hi Eoin!

Thanks for reaching out! So far we've had 5 applicants from Gaza Sky Geeks but none of them has started attempting the online code test yet. One of the applicant's code test period has expired (We usually give them 2 weeks from the time they apply to attempt the code test).

Hope they are not scared off by the thought of a code test! It's really not hard. Some very strong coders even completed all 3 questions within 15 minutes. ^^

Thanks Eoin! Even if their code test period has expired, they can write in to [email protected] to request an extension or for us to reset the test period for them! :)
