Add a race condition check

We'd like to avoid having race conditions in gz-go. We should add a race condition check to avoid this.

This wasn't done when setting up the initial CI config because it took a considerable amount of time, leading to timeouts on every workflow execution. Further research is needed to understand why this was happening.
