If I put my landing zone on my OS drive and my OS drive fails and I need to reinstall linux will it be possible to recontruct my greyhole shares on the new instance?

I'm a bit confused as to if I need to keep the OS drive "safe" or not for my otherwise pure NAS

fsck can re-create all the symlinks found in your shares (landing zone), from the data drives.
How to do this is detailed here : https://github.com/gboudreau/Greyhole/wiki/ReuseStoragePool
