they have an outsavvy account which i thought might be better (https://www.outsavvy.com/organiser/vfd) but it doesn't have the all the events listened on the vfdalston website. maybe they plan to add them though. @GeorgieMcVicar can check with them.
Acceptance Criteria
Verify that the import is working as expected (i.e. we expect private events to be included)
If not, then the fix might also need to be addressed in PlaceCal for InfoSec - it's no good just filtering the results here.

I think the problem is that if they're just listing events normally with the summary "private event" there's not a lot we can do about that - they're kinda using the calender in a way it's not designed to be used, computationally there's no way to know that it's a private event. Contrast "busy" feature in iCal, which PlaceCal doesn't import. Infosec wise I'd say it's no worse than their current website - we're only copying stuff from there if I understand properly.
I think we could add in a filter on PlaceCal's end - like a kind of include/exclude filter on calendars - but unsure if anyone's asking for that or not. So I would vote we mark this wontfix and open a ticket for the PlaceCal feature.
