[Bug]: Mobile view isn't loading on iOS and buttons don't toggle active state properly #474

Description

Trying it on iOS brings up two issues:

Looks like it's loading tablet or desktop state not mobile
Manchester/London buttons are jittery and don't toggle properly

(github videos broken seemingly)

Firefox video was on a poor wifi connection, Safari one isn't

View on Firefox - attempt to change pages and press buttons
