Hi,yantosca
I made a simulation of PM2.5 concentration, and its aerosal-only mode, not full-chem mode, its a global scale, and I use the EDGAR global emission inventory, after the simulation, I find that the PM2.5 concentration distribution is wrong,I'm confused about it, the year of 2022 pm2.5 concentration is wrong, should I change the EDGAR emission inventory to the CEDS emission inventory? but I found that in the CEDS inventory , there is no PM2.5 species. I know that in the EDGAR inventory, the PM2.5 exist,so after the simulation, I can get the PM2.5 concentration, I wanna know that if I should change the EDGAR inventory to CEDS inventory, and if the CEDS inventory can get the PM2.5 concentration after the simulation. thanks a lot!

Thanks for writing @rongbing0353. PM2.5 isn't a species in GEOS-Chem, but it is derived from diagnostic quantities. You should use the AerosolMass%PM25 diagnostic to get PM2.5.

CEDS is the default inventory in GEOS-Chem so I would suggest that you use this inventory.
