Ctrl+shift+k: Does not reference selected lines anymore

I upgraded from .40 to .44. It used to be the case that the selection was added into the newly opened window after Ctrl+shift+k. Now it isn't. Is there a way to enable this again?

When I use ctrl+shift+L, it still adds the selection to the chat sidebar, but I'd like the same for the composer window (aipopup.action.modal.generate), as it used to behave.
