Brisk menu 0.6.2 closes automatically after few seconds open. It should remain open and be more stable
Ubuntu MATE 20.04.3 LTS

Don't have this behavior on Solus. The menu remains open until I click on an application to launch.

Perhaps you could check your journal / dmesg logs for errors.

Brisk sometimes crashes on Ubuntu Mate 21.04 on mate-desktop with:

(mate-panel:10517): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 18:53:33.087: gtk_widget_destroy: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

Brisk menu 0.6.0 running on Ubuntu Mate 20.04.3 using "familiar" panel layout closes automatically after a few seconds. This behavior is NOT occurring with other panel layouts, just "familiar".

Switched to "traditional" panel layout for a while (also tried others). After logging out and back in, I tried Going back to "familiar" and now the wonky (quick-close) brisk menu behavior is gone.
