How to set an active class on the buttons whenever slide changes

Hi all. I've been trying to find examples of how to do this but not having any lucky. I have a slider that uses buttons to control it and I want to set an active class on the button that corresponds to the slide but it's not clear from the documentation how to do that. Can anyone point me in the right way? I am also using vanilla javascript so it doesn't seem to let me just import from glide.modular.esm.js any way around that?
