Does not properly (without adjustments by hand) display ä,ö,ü etc. on Mac Office and Openoffice. Though "native" Mac applications do it properly. Maybe not solvable?

Did you try to set the encoding to utf-8?

It works in Openoffice by selecting, it's just not working out-of-the box. Excel for Mac does not even work when importing as .csv and selection utf-8. That's why: "Maybe not solvable?" and people offer exports in .xls out of frustration.

Seriously? Well, in this case that's a big issue. I'll switch to xls export then...
