before reporting and issue based on what you see in GLPI, you should take the computer inventory and check what it reports, here as softwares. On a given computer, you can run the following command from an administrative console and from the glpi-agent installation folder:
And share the "softwares" section if you think something is not correct. Actually, I don't see any problem in your screenshot. It's probably normal to have a lot a different installed version if computers are not updated. So it seems you only need to understand how this works. If this is the question, please, ask your question on the GLPI forum. |

Well, I don't consider correct, if the software version reported in the Inventory list is 115.9.1, and going inside the list item, in Installations tab, the versions are suddenly 1) completely different from that of the list, and even 2) various (91.6.0, 128.6.0 etc). |

For me, it seems the correct behavior, not a bug. Notice that different Firefox is shown on the list because the software are assigned to their respective entities. About the Version column showing multiple versions, it happens because it's installed on multiple computers as @g-bougard stated, and clicking on it as you do show the different versions installed on different machines. It would be a bug if multiple Firefox versions be shown inside a unique computer asset (not into the software asset), which doesn't seems to be the case. If you want to create multiple Mozilla Firefox entries on Software list, you can use dictionary rules to rename software which could create a new software for each Firefox instance and display the computers which belongs to that. There's a free course (in french) that shows how to do that - it's based on FusionInventory but the logic is the same of GLPI Inventory: https://openclassrooms.com/fr/courses/1730516-gerez-votre-parc-informatique-avec-glpi |

Okay, anyway I'll moved this issue as a Q&A discussion thread as I don't see any evidence of glpi-agent issue. Glpi-agent is just a part of GLPI and I only glpi point of view has been shared. So I see the question more as a misunderstanding of GLPI usage and in that case such question would even have reached a larger audience on GLPI forum. |

Describe the bug
Hallo,
We have an issue with Mozilla Firefox ESR versioning.
When displayed in Inventory - Software (filtered by "Firefox ESR" string), the versions in Version-Name column seem to be the first version of Firefox that the GLPI Agent ever found on that computer.
However, clicking on the name of some item in the list, (Mozilla Firefox ESR (x64 sk)), and looking into Installations tab, different versions are reported, and they seem correct here (but we must evaluate this in more detail). Also in Computer window, the Software tab seems to give proper information.
It looks like some discrepance, but possibly, are we making a mistake?
To reproduce
Run GLPI Agent on machines for some time. Check the Inventory - Software.
Expected behavior
Correct version of software should be displayed.
Operating system
Windows
GLPI Agent version
v1.12
GLPI version
10.0.17
GLPIInventory plugin or other plugin version
