Describe your problem
We recently deployed a GLPI server in our organization and are conducting inventory through the GLPI agent. We encountered the following problem: a number of workstations were purchased as a WS from a Chinese manufacturer. The UUID and serial number are empty on these workstations. When inventoried with the agent, duplicate computers slip through (since a new entry is set by UUID + serial number) and there is a restriction on changing and entering by UUID so that duplicate workstations do not occur. Please tell me how it would be possible to solve the problem with duplicates when the UUID and serial number fields are empty. And is there a way to enter your own UUID in the agent's inventory process? There are more than 20 such machines in my organization.
