This would be amazing on mobiles.

This would allow golang code to be compiled to WASM and then updated on all devices. Huge.

Has anyone tried this yet ?

Afaik, nobody tried that.
But it does indeed sound like an interesting use case.

Rust is booming along with WASM.
Anyone done any benchmarks with gowagin to see the speed differences between golang and golang wasm running inside gowagon ?
