Comodo added "Unique Value" for all new orders and reissues, in order to provide better security practices. Unique Value code added to DNS CNAME records and HTTP Hash files.
Affected methods: 🔗addSSLOrder and 🔗reissueSSLOrder
Affected products: All Comodo SSL certificates, exception CPAC and CodeSigning products
You can generate Unique Value on your side, rules:
- the code must be 15-20 characters long
- unique for all New orders and Reissues
- Latin letters and numbers ONLY
- No special characters
We would generate the code on our own, IF no UNIQUE code will be provided
