GCMPushPlugin error on android build in ionic

Can someone please post specific directions on how to install this for android? I am trying to integrate it into an ionic app - the compilation process invokes 'cordova build' so adding to build.grade won't work as it overwrites it.

Did you install it using ionic or cordova CLI? maybe try to install with ionic cli.

Just use phonegap push plugin. This plugin does not play well with some google libs. And more over, it is not even maintained by the author.
