The fix is Column(verticalArrangement = Arrangement.Center, horizontalAlignment = Alignment.End, modifier = modifier .padding(8.dp)) { Text( text = message, fontSize = 100.sp, lineHeight = 116.sp, textAlign = TextAlign.Center ) doing the horizontalAlignment
