Should verb give be on $.user?

At the moment, 'give' is $.thing.give this at/to any. But maybe it should be $.user.give any at/to this—after all, "give food to safe" doesn't really make much sense.

One possible disadvantage is that, with give on $.thing it would make sense for $.thing's object menu to include "give food to " (assuming we allow such templated entries in future), but it would be kind of weird for $.user's object menu to include "give to this".
