Description

rules_apple released version 1.0.0 on Dec 6, 2024.

While this is not a hard blocker for us to switch to Bazel 8.0 migration (#1118), we would see the following warning when switched to Bazel 8.0.0 without updating rules_python.

WARNING: For repository 'rules_python', the root module requires module version [email protected], but got [email protected] in the
resolved dependency graph. Please update the version in your MODULE.bazel or set --check_direct_dependencies=off

bzlmod: Update rules_python to 1.0.0

This is just a mechanical update of rules_python from 0.34.0 to 1.0.0.
No change is expected in the final artifacts.

Closes google#1148.
