investigating, The build shows both XTFI and XTSP have gvars, causing spacing to fail on blend.

As this is spacing in the glyph and not counter, only XTSP should have gvars.

But the sources of XTFI, both min and max, match the default.

So, there is a difference between the source and the build I can't explain.
