Howto filter metadata / xattr / chmod from modify event ?

Using watchdog on Mac Is there a way to know if a modified event is an actual file change and not just a metadata change ( access time modification ) ?

I see that fsevents2 seem to catch those flags from the native events but no flags / methods accessible in the event class ?
