I was also curious about this
I've been trying to run the gaussian-splatting repo and this dependency seems to be the one that caused issues when installing it with CUDA 12.1 on my end

Did you manage to get this working on CUDA 12.0+ @loliuy ?

Has anyone tested the 3dgs_accel branch?

There is cuda error in my environment which is cuda12.4 and ubuntu 22.04.

There is cuda error in my environment which is cuda12.4 and ubuntu 22.04.

I tested 3dgs_accel, it sometimes reports CUDA error during training. My environment is cuda 11.8 and Ubuntu 20.04.
