This would reduce documentation a bit and makes exploration a bit simpler: just docs and tutorials.

Do you mean that we should move the examples from the Optimization API doc to tutorials entirely?

Not sure. Just think that the docs becoming big and that we could move the tutorial/example stuff (for learning) out of it and keep just the reference manual (for quick look up)
