Browse SD card files - download timelapses

With upcoming firmware updates, it's becoming more and more safer, to go with LAN only mode. One drawback is, that in this mode, Bambu Studio won't be able to browse SD card.

It would be an awesome feature to be able to browse, download and remove timelapses using Home Assistant.

What are the possibilities to get this working in a Hassio integration? Is it technically possible to establish FTPS connection here?

Bambu Studio should be able to still browse the sd card in lan mode - the ability to do that is supported by ftp to the printer itself. Now if Bambu decided to be annoying and not allow it, that would be different. But I think it works today although I don't have on in lan mode currently to test.

I know it should. But it doesn't.

Also, this is not a good old FTP. It's an FTPS in legacy (implicit SSL) mode, finding a client for it is problematic.

That's what I'm currently using as well. But it's not a replacement for mobile access.

I was hoping to get the Nextcloud's "External Storage" plugin, but, as most FTP software, it doesn't support FTPS with implicit SSL. Also, I couldn't get anything work on MacOS aside from CLI lftp.

FileZilla client also works, so you could try that.
