Exporting grid data to JSON

Hi guys,
I hope you all are fine!

I'm starting a new project and we'll need a lightweight grid solution, but actually there is no export function for gridjs. We have some time before this project really grow up and I trying to implement one plugin with the missing function for our need.

It "works" but i noticed when i click on the 'export button' the function is called one time for each row on the grid.
Am i doing something wrong, can anyone help me?

PS: I'm a backend (C#) developer and I'm adventuring into some frontend components (begginer)

I made this code (my final goal is export to CSV, but JSON solve at moment)
