An update: - Camera is actually working well:
Question 1 - Wifi - Answered myself - Yes it has to be added on the wyze app and it will get its wifi config from there. I am good with that.
`/usr/bin/ssh-copy-id: INFO: Source of key(s) to be installed: "wycam11.pub" /usr/bin/ssh-copy-id: WARNING: All keys were skipped because they already exist on the remote system. So key was copied. Then tried to ssh >
Not sure what I am not doing correctly would appreciate any guidence. |

So for completion I found the only way to login now is to specifically call out which private key you want to use for the ssh connection example:
This mechanism works. Just for completeness the whole key gen, key copy and login is being done from a raspberry pi. |

Hi all,
I have two Wyze V2 camers FCCID - 2AUIUWYZECP2A.
I have loaded and configured wz_mini_hacks and it works nicely, I can get to the web interface.
I have some unfortunately simple questions:
The Wifi network access - on Dafang there was a config file to set the wifi network. I have read through the configs and dont see one
Question: Because it doesnt replace the original firmware - does it rely on the wifi network configured on the wyze app?
Please excuse this really stupid question but I am having troubles. On the SSH public key authentication, I have gone through the article and have used a SSH tool to create a public key and enter that key in /etc/ssh/authorized_keys
What I am trying to understand - Do I create a public ssh key and merely put that key in the authorized_keys file then in my ssh client use that key to login.
Is there a way to revert to SSH user and password?
I want to stream to blueiris using the rtsp stream this works really well, the question is has anyone got the ptz working through blueiris?
