Hack for LA was a great resource for me as a recent UX bootcamp graduate with limited real world experience in the field. Thanks to HfLA, I was able to contribute to shipped products as well as collaborate with fellow designers, developers, and researchers. I was also fortunate to receive mentorship from PM Hana Stevenson, whose career advice was keen and invaluable. I can say with confidence that my work on the Design Systems project helped me land my new job as a Product Designer at Lumanu, where I will be taking lead on their design system!
