Global Transition between slides is broken #3709

Reveal.initialize({
  backgroundTransition: 'zoom',
});

doesn't really work, until we set some value on an individual slide, at least in Markdown format:

#### The `<footer>` Element <!-- .slide: data-transition="slide" data-transition-speed="slow" -->

only then, the slide is overwritten by zoom, but the zoom by default won't work.
