Along with our roadmaps, the Release Schedule references version numbers that are associated with project milestones. We will need to re-implement these milestones and align with the project roadmaps accordingly.

So are you talking about milestones as the Github term? If you are I think we could combine this with #8 to have milestones for each release which contains what we are planning for the release.
@roleyfoley I would imagine that the release milestones in github correspond with upcoming releases in the release calendar, which ideally would also correspond with either a project, or part of a project in the roadmap as well. We know how often we release, what our versioning system is and what we're working towards. They should all be interconnected.
