Hello, SAPIEN team!

I'm a student currently exploring the capabilities of your fantastic simulation platform, SAPIEN.
Could you kindly provide information on the highest Python version that SAPIEN currently supports? Specifically, I want to know whether it supports the newest stable Python 3.13.

Additionally, if there are any specific instructions or recommendations for setting up the Python environment with SAPIEN, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share those.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Best regards,
Yucheng Song

You can grab the nightly release for 3.13
https://github.com/haosulab/SAPIEN/releases

This release is really the same as the pypi release plus 3.13 support.

First, thank you for your outstanding work on the SAPIEN project! I truly appreciate the availability of nightly builds supporting Python 3.13, as it has already been beneficial for the community and users like me.

I’m currently working on a project that relies heavily on SAPIEN, and having a stable version supporting Python 3.13 would greatly enhance the development experience and ensure reliability for production use.

May I kindly ask if there is a plan or timeline for releasing a stable version of SAPIEN that supports Python 3.13? I understand that development can be complex and time-consuming, and I greatly respect the effort your team has been putting into this incredible project.

Thank you again for all the hard work, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,
Yucheng Song
