Manual trigger?! #18
Comments
Hi, I have not updated nor used this plugin since I opensourced it. You can make pr's and I will have a look but besides that do not expect much input from me :). Kind regards, |
That's what I'm saying you had made this plugin kinda feature proof already, at least that's a big WIN. It was a wish if you would. But sure if you won't, it's fine by me. Anyhow still can you tell me if there is a manual trigger to run the data scraping? Ben je nou Belgische of Nederlandse? |
I do not really know anymore how this works honestly. I used to integrate this with wp-all-import to automate it, but again, been a long time. I am from Belgium. |
Sure it works together, but I just want it not to be automated. So I can first import and then scrape. Well you haven't used it sure. Aren't you willing to take a glance at the code? I bet that you have the memories somewhere in your brains… Just tell me where to look and that's a happy me then... Ah cool! |
Hi there, I don't want to and import 1000s of products and the data at the same time due to the heavy load and causing timeouts, even though the maxes are set to like 900000 seconds.
So what I do want is to just enable the plugin if a new import is finished. But then how to trigger the fetch data functionality? Is there a manual trigger? Like a settings pane button or /?icecat=1/ available? Or are you maybe willing to implement it or explain to us how to implement it?
After you abandoned the plugin, I hoped that it would work release for a few new mature WP updates, but even after lots of them the plugin still works perfectly. That's cool, but it also means that you did not have to abandon it. Since there is literally noting in need of an update, possibly some minor fixes… Maybe you will, and maybe you won't, it's your choice. But I think that I speak for all users that we would love and appreciate it very much.
Anyway thanks for your time and effort to read, this question and your consideration to help.
Have a great one! Or more!
Met vriendelijke groet,
Een andere Nederlander!
Altijd goed om je locals te supporten hé!
