No response on Receiver_UI #24

Can this project be run on VM_ware Ubuntu18.04?
I configured the whole project according to the setup, and I can get both sender and receiver UI on the browser. The sender is sending the data, but the receiver_UI doesnt show anything after selecting the channel...

...much appreciated if anyone can help
