Pre-submission checklist

  • I am submitting a bug report, not a feature request.
  • I have searched for similar issues, but did not find any matches.

Description

Google Play keeps bugging me to update, which fails anyway. If version numbers must differ, the lower should probably be Play's.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install F-droid version
  2. Check for updates in Play

System information

  • Phone: n.a.
  • Phone Operating System: n.a.
  • App version: 2.2.0

We had to bump the Google Play version due to a Google-only issue (they rejected our app update and, after appeal, they asked us to upload with a bumped version code). There are no changes between 2.2.0 and 2.2.1, so I won't be uploading 2.2.1 to F-droid.
