Do you know if this works in chrome on iOS ?

As of now, Chrome for iOS does not support A2HS. It's technically a wrapper around the safari toolkit. Though safari has partial support for it.

Safari on iOS does not support A2HS in WebViews like Chrome and Firefox.

Yeah that’s what I have found in general.

it’s like apple are not exposing the A2HS api to chrome anymore - I swear A2HS used to work in chrome on iOS ..
