Add artifact

To add artifact you have to be logged in. (How to login)

Go to Home page, select the museum you want to add the artifact to select specific collection and press "Create New Artifact"

you will be redirected to artifact creation link that should look like this:

  • You can use markdown text with real time rendering for the description of the artifact.

  • To add videos, upload it on YouTube. Then paste this in your markdown code [![IMAGE ALT TEXT HERE](http://img.youtube.com/vi/YOUTUBE_VIDEO_ID_HERE/0.jpg)](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOUTUBE_VIDEO_ID_HERE) and copy the video ID from the YouTube URL.

  • You can select multiple collections that you want to create new artifact in.

  • Once you are done adding stuff click the "Submit" button that should be dark green if entered information is valid.

  • If for some reason artifact could not be created an error message will be displayed in that case you have to adjust artifact information and try submitting form again.

  • The data of your new artifact will be checked once more and if everything is fine artifact will be added to review list to be reviewed by the museum curator.

  • Once everything is done you can go to your "User Profile" to view the status of your new artifact edit.

  • If you are the curator of the museum you eddited the artifact will be added automatically
