Would be cool if this also worked based on artboard names.

That's a great idea! We'll see if we can add that in the next release.

We've just released a new version of the exporter that now allows artboard export. Enjoy!

This works well unless there are any locked or template layers which always throws a Target layer cannot be modified error.

Hey@danielbayley, could you send me an Illustrator file to test from? I can't seem to replicate this on my end.
