We're running our camera in an application that requires it to be up at all times and are running into an issue where the camera session dies every 300 seconds due to a MAX_HEARTBEAT parameter being set in the ifm3d library here. We need a way to have this session continue running indefinitely. What's the best approach you would recommend to do this? Can we send a heartbeat to the session to extend it? Is there a combination of different library versions that has functionality to change the effective max session time parameter?
Hi @lpengample,
The session is not designed to be kept open indefinitely. Maybe there is another way to achieve the result you are looking for. I think it would be helpful to discuss your application in more details so we can direct you to the right tool. Could you send us an email at support.robotics@ifm.com?
Thanks!
