Welcome to the pymus wiki!
pymus is not really a software. It is a collection of code snippets in jupyter notebooks that are useful for musicology research. Musicologists can copy-paste and adapt the codes to their own projects. The pymus project is a part of the "Python for musicologists" course carried out at the Institute of Systematic Musicology at the University of Hamburg, Germany. The repository will be filled with life by the participating students.
The code provided is organized in folders named after the dedicated research area:
- Teaching
- Material
- Basics
- Acoustics / Signal Processing
- Ethnomusicology
- Machine Learning
- Music Psychology / Statistics
Folders contain subfolders. Each subfolder contains the code provided by one of the students.
