Hi,

I noticed that currently there is no option for "Link supplementary alignments", which can be very helpful when interpreting an SV from the alignment pileup (especially deletion type in the long read alignment). It is possible I should instead raise the issue in igv.js repo since the option should be implemented there (https://github.com/igvteam/igv.js/wiki/Alignment-Track). But I would like to get your thoughts on whether it is difficult to implement this feature. Thanks!

Shunhua

This is not really an igv-notebook issue/request, transferring to igv.js

And no its not difficult its a matter of prioritization and resources vs other issues open here.

Thanks for transferring this issue, glad to know it's not a difficult one. Look forward to the future update on this feature 👍

This option would be very useful for our current work on structural variants, especially if also supported by igv-reports.
