mongoose is not getting installed

I am getting this error after everything got started. Earlier mongoose was not even getting installed. Object # has no method 'desc'. May you help me how can I resolve this issue.

I'm not maintaining this app anymore but I guess it has something to do with the MongoDB version you are using. Please check that the mongoose version supports your MongoDB installation.
