Have you tried downloading with hls?

Tried it. Same result.

I’ve been having the same issues (in #1039), tried everything, nothing seems to work, my only recommendation is to just wait until the dev responds, as it seems nothing will fix it.

Try downloading with hls now. It should work.

Can confirm that now downloading h264 with hls appears to work consistently.
Also tested h264 without hls and av1, both of which appear to get cut off consistently and regardless of the specific video getting downloaded: most of the time it seems that both video and audio track get cut off at the same time, but on a few occasion I've seen the audio track continue for the full video while the video track was cut off earlier.
All the tests were done with tunnelling on to ensure that my own IP would not factor into the results.

I also encountered this problem. The download speed became zero after downloading 2-3MB.

I turned on the HLS, but it still has a problem. After downloading 18MB, it stop download and report the file cannot be found on the server.

As mentioned in #1039, the occurrence of errors is because youtube close the stream. So is dividing a large video into small pieces then download a possible solution?(#1044)
