describe the feature you'd like to see

Downloading transcripts from captions could be great.
Especially for YouTube, since copying them from the website has timecodes in the text and is generally a pain to use, it would also make garbage AI transcript tools with paywalls obsolete.

Yeah! I would love to have this, or even if you are downloading as audio make it so that it adds the transcript in the metadata as timed lyrics.

@elouangrimm IIRC VLC announced a feature pretty similar to what you're asking for, and to what I'm asking for too now that I think about it, something about using local LLMs to make subtitles, I'm not sure if it is actually extractable though or if it's already available for that matter.

well I know, but I meant having that integrated into the great UI of cobalt. :)
