Right now, the user has no idea or control over what organisms they have the taxon images and common names saved offline. We currently make it such that when you open iNat next with internet, we download the top 500 organisms around you, but there's no indication of if it was successful, what organisms were downloaded, or if an organism you intend to see offline is in the top 500 nearby.
I would love to create way for them to be able to exert some control over this, maybe similar to Merlin's pack download system.
