The problem

To provide a neutral and safe home for OSS projects in the language and DEI space, we need a clearly written policy for accepting projects.

Requirements

Such a policy should cover at a minimum the following:

  • Who can contribute projects (organizations? companies? individuals?)
  • The process of contributing code (i.e. transferring a github repo or otherwise)
  • The requirements for ongoing maintenance/support by the original contributors
  • DCO/CLA/commit signing requirements
  • Any legal requirements on either the donator's part or INI's part
