This is am sample engine for importing data from a legacy MYSQL database. Look into the models and the lib/tasks folder for examples for connecting to a database and importing data.

Instell gem by running

Run Migrations added

Mount the Engine in your routes.rb
mount MercatorLegacyImporter::Engine => “/mercator_legacy_importer”
