Hi colleagues,

first of all thanks for your great support with your iot adapter. It brings my smarthome absolutely to the next level.
I'm actually on the implementation of GHOME in parallel of Alexa. Unfortunately I have the problem, that existing devices (from Alexa implementation) doesn't work in GHOME app and that trait updates are not shown in the GHOME list (but in the smartname entry). When creating a new GHOME device (in iot GHOME tab), these devices will work in GHOME app and also trait-changes were updated in the iot GHOME Tab device list.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a device in Alexa app (for example a light)
  2. Go to 'GHOME Tab'
  3. Click on 'function' in the automatically created, existing
  4. change from 'onoff' to 'brightness'
  5. Click confirmation
  6. update is coming without updating the entry, will be updated in the smartname, but even doesn't work

Expected behavior
Automatic created devices out of Alexa tab work also in GHOME and trait updates will be shown in the iot GHOME device list.

Screenshots & Logfiles
-No specific log file written while changing.
-clicking in HOME app on the device:

iot.0 | 2024-10-05 22:01:15.919 | error | [GHOME] Cannot updateStates: [object Object] -- | -- | -- | --

.
Versions:

  • Adapter version: 3.3.0 and 3.4.2
  • JS-Controller version: 6.0.11
  • Node version: v20.5.1
  • Operating system: linux

Additional context
Funny side fact: only outlets as a takeover device also work in the GHOME app.
