Pump is consisting on multiple states:

  • OnOff (mandatory) -> means we need a new role "switch.pump" to detect this device type?
  • Dimmer (optional)
  • Temperature measurement (optional)
  • Pressure Measurement(optional)
  • Flow Measurement (optional)

Some additional (optional) states based on indicators from my non smart pumps - don't know what metter standards specify:

  • isOn -> state showing if pump is actual running. Pumps might be switched on but stopped due to target pressure reached or waterlevel too low
  • error -> error indicator as pumps might report errors like overtemperature, low water etc.
